Michael Sanchez, Chairman and CEO

Michael is a proven entrepreneur, business executive and early pioneer in financial services technology. He has served as founder, president, chief executive officer, and chairman for a number of private and public companies. His vision, leadership, and execution experience have resulted in numerous success stories over his career.

Michael currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Savana, Inc., a fast growing business process automation company serving the financial services marketplace.  Prior to his current role, he served as president of the international division of Fidelity Information Services (NYSE:FIS), where he lead significant growth during his tenure. Prior to FIS, he was the founder and Chairman of Sanchez Computer Associates (NASDAQ:SCAI) a leading global supplier of core banking systems.

Michael has been a frequent guest on national TV and radio programs. He also holds several US and foreign patents for computer interconnect technologies. Michael has been recognized with various business awards, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the software industry in the mid-Atlantic region in 2002 and the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2001.  He sits on the board of Trustees of the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, one of the oldest and most prestigious centers for science and education in the United States. 

Michael Ferreri, President and COO

A senior executive with more than 20 years of enterprise software sales, marketing and technology services delivery experience, Michael is known for his ability to build high-performing, dynamic teams and deliver strategic insight into and solutions for complex IT environments. Prior to joining Savana, Michael served as the president of Judge Consulting Group, an information technology consulting, staffing and training organization. During this time he was able to dramatically expand the company’s client base and increase its capability to deliver customized enterprise software solutions, collaboration services, business intelligence and cloud-based services.

Prior to the Judge Group, Michael enjoyed a 16 year career at Microsoft serving in a variety of senior-level sales, marketing, channel and technology services leadership roles. As the regional general manager for Microsoft's mid-atlantic enterprise and commercial sector business, Michael was responsible for the strategy and growth of one of Microsoft’s largest worldwide subsidiaries with over $500M in annual revenue. During his tenure at Microsoft, he worked directly in building unique business relationships and partnerships with many of the largest global corporations in the financial services, life sciences, healthcare and chemicals industries.

Michael is a frequent speaker and published author on trends and advances in the information technology industry. Michael is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia where he studied journalism.

Todd Pittman, Chief Administrative Officer

As chief administrative officer and CFO for Savana, Todd has leadership responsibility for finance, accounting, human resources, legal, and facilities management. Todd has spent his career providing financial leadership to software and services companies focused on providing world-class solutions through the deployment of technology. Over the past 15 years, Todd has served as the chief financial officer of both public and privately-held companies in the financial services industry. Todd also brings to Savana extensive experience in M&A, including transactions on both the buy and sell side.   

Most recently, Todd was the chief financial officer of Energy Solutions International, a global provider of software solutions to the world’s leading oil and gas pipeline companies. Todd has also served as the CFO of Epitome Systems, a provider of enterprise productivity management software, the CFO of Sanchez Computer Associates (Nasdaq: SCAI) until the company was acquired by Fidelity National Financial (NYSE: FNF), and the CFO of Integrion Financial Network, a provider of online internet banking solutions.

Todd is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Baylor University and an MBA from Duke University.

Mike Wolfel, Chief Technology Officer

As CTO for Savana, Mike is responsible for technology strategy and product development for Savana’s software applications. Mike has 20+ years of experience in the Information Technology sector, with a deep background in enterprise content management and business process management technologies. Prior to Savana, Mike worked at GMAC Commercial Mortgage (GMACCM), where he oversaw the technical operations of the company’s paperless and automation initiative, and spent four years as the chief architect and technical consultant for the global deployment of EPITOME.

Mike has an extensive background in systems architecture and application development, with hands-on experience developing software solutions and leading development teams. He has developed and released to market several commercial software systems, and implemented solutions across a range of industries, including financial services & banking, energy/utilities, legal, human resources, government and engineering. Mike was also the co-founder and CTOof NOVACOM, Inc., a document management and workflow systems integrator that was acquired by Identitech in 1998.

Mike attended Penn State University.

Fran Forte, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

As Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Fran has leadership responsibility for growing revenue and market share, new sales channel   development, strategic partner alliances, product marketing and marketing communications. Fran is currently spearheading  Savana’s go-to-market approach for nGage, the company’s newest banking customer service solution. As a senior executive  with over 20 years’ experience, Fran is distinguished by his proven track record in building effective sales and marketing strategies for companies ranging in size from Fortune 100 to entrepreneurial start-ups.

Prior to Savana, Fran served as Vice President of Sales for Yammer, the enterprise social network service which was bought by Microsoft for $1.2B in 2012. During his tenure, he built and led an organization of senior technology sales executives which doubled revenue every quarter. Before Yammer, Fran served as a US Regional Sales Manager at Cisco Systems, where he was named Top Regional Manager in 2011.

Prior to Cisco, Fran enjoyed a 14 year career at Microsoft, where he led a $200MM business focused on delivering collaboration software solutions to enterprise customers. During his Microsoft tenure, Fran received 5 awards for outstanding leadership.

Fran received a Bachelor of Science from Boston College, a Master of Arts from Boston University and is fluent in Italian. He is a leader for the Boston College Alumni Association, Philadelphia Chapter and serves several community organizations at either the Board or Committee level.
